Airbnb and Motel Linen Service Checklist
1. Collection and Preparation for Laundry
- Gather all dirty and used linen. This includes sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, towels (bathroom and kitchen) and any other fabric items requiring cleaning.
- Neatly place the collected linen into a designated laundry bag or box. This keeps the dirty linen contained and makes transport easier.
2. Replenishing with Fresh Linen
- Replace all used linen with fresh, clean linen.
- In bedrooms, change sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers.
- In bathrooms, provide fresh bath towels, hand towels and washcloths.
- In the kitchen, replace any used kitchen towels or cloths with clean ones.
3. Laundry Options
Once the replacement is complete, proceed with cleaning the dirty linen using one of the following methods:
Option 1:
- Off-Site Laundromat Transport the dirty linen to an off-site laundromat.
- Wash and dry the linen thoroughly.
- Neatly repack the clean, dry linen for transport back to the storage area.
Option 2:
- On-Site Laundry Wash and dry the linen using the installed washing machine and dryer on-site.
4. Returning Clean Linen
On your next visit, return the clean linen to its designated storage area. Ensure it’s neatly organised and ready for future use.
